A few weeks back I was learning how to use the AcuFil™ stippling feature on my new Janome Memory Craft 15000 sewing machine. I had a good play with this feature and couldn’t believe how easy it was to use. I wanted to practice before I quilted Jasmine’s Quilt to make sure I knew what I was doing. I was left with this sampler piece that was 80% stippled and 20% nothing. Today I decided I would cut it up into a zipper bag, to have as a standby gift. It has turned out really well, considering it was never designed to become a zipper bag. I have to thank both Jenny for the Missouri Star Quilt Co Zipper Bag tutorial and Melanie Ham’s Zippered Box Pouch tutorial for their tutorials, and Janome for their amazing sewing machine.
